WOW.. he is such a performer!!! His voice was right on point, the whole show was great!! I loved the stage. It was spread out like a Y shaped Catwalk almost the length of the arena floor. You did not have to be in the very front to get a glimpse of him. Homegrown, Kenneth"scooter" Whalum III was memorizing on the Sax. the 3piece horns/backup singers were great!! His fomer band memphis own NuJynisis played background for Chrisette Michelle. Althought I love Common, the sound was not great for his performance. (Shame on your sound men) But as stated by review, Maxwell stole the show!!! I will be at the MEMPHIS show also!!! Went to the show in LR…. WOW.. he is such a performer!!! I am going to Little Rock Oct 10th instead of seeing the Memphis show. I remember seeing him in the late 90's at Mud Island Amphitheater on a muggie Summer evening. He wore all black but the show was amazing. Zhane opened for him back then. Maxwell can seduce you with his being. I CAN"T WAIT!!! I can’t wait to see him again.
