I downloaded her new album, ‘The humour and misfortune of others’ among others but I didn’t take a listen to it until a few days ago. I liked it, specially a song called ‘Mamma’, which is the first single. While I was taking a listen I thought she was from US but surprisingly she’s from New Zealand! Her voice is very very soulful although her roots are English and Dutch, along with some Apache.

‘The humour and misfortune of others’ is now available to download and purchase. This album is very powerful but also very emotional. Her influences are jazz, soul, funk and blues. Delicious music brought right from New Zealand. Enjoy!
