For only 951 Prince fans, the Prince Opus
You have to ask yourself a question. Are you a true Prince fan that you think you are? This is the test right here. Prince has released The Prince Opus. It’s a 280 page book that is 13″ x 20″, that weighs 38lbs. It’s leather hand bound, with it’s own velvet case. To add to the decadence, each page is printed in a four color process, plus metallic gold on silk. It’s a photo book of Prince’s 21 Nights tour, and also includes a numbered and limited edition Apple iPod 2nd Gen Touch. The purple iPod Touch has 40 minute movie from that same tour, and bonus tracks. There will only be 950 of these available. The price for this item? Oh, only $2,100 USD. If you have some extra money around, just go ahead and get me one too.
If that isn’t enough for you, and you want to step it up a bit then there is the Number One Edition. It will include the Prince symbol with five diamonds, which total 7.77 carats, with D quality color. These aren’t any cheap cluster diamonds. The diamond encrusted symbol will be removable and able to be worn. How do you get this special edition? It will be sold via auction by Sothrby. It will be auctioned after his tour of 12 major cities this year. The winner of the auction will also receive an exclusive private Prince performance in LA for them and 50 guests. The winner also gets the jacket that Prince wore on that last night of his 21 Nights tour. It’s has 21 spray painted on the back, by Prince. You can buy one of the 950 Limited Edition Prince Opus here.
I LOVE me some Prince, but REALLY?
That’s all.
I would figure that at least it would contain ALL of his released music on the iPod. Just about 10 tracks for $2,100? I’ll pass. For that much I can fly to LA, for the weekend and see him live.
