Choklate is one of my favorite singers in the past years.  She has a voice that is subtile and powerful at the same time.  With her 2nd album “To Whom it May Concern” released last May.  It was a great follow up to her debut album, “Choklate“.  On her recent album, she released a video to her single “Grown Folks”.  It’s a great example for her talent, and softness.  Also it has a surprise guest.  Check it out.

Good afternoon. One of my favorite Soul artists is releasing her 2nd album tomorrow (May 19th).  The album is titled “To Whom It May Concern“.  It will be available everywhere.  I tried to make the rounds today, to pick it up early, with no luck.  So, to make it easy for one lucky reader I’m giving away a copy of the album.  Very easy. All you have to do is register for Soulified here.  Be the twentieth person to register, and the copy is yours. Now if we don’t make 20 new registered users, then the last person to register wins.

Choklate – To Whom It May Concern: May 9th, 2009. She is one of my favorite artist from 2007. I was just entranced by her voice. I was very happy when she announced that she had a new album coming May 9th, 2009.


Black Summers Night

Maxwell – BlackSummersNight: July 7th, 2009. Maxwell is saying its the first in a trilogy of albums to be released. I don’t know how much time will be between the three albums, but let’s hope it’s not as long as hit last album, and this one. Yesterday he posted a a song from the new album, Prettywings. I can’t find the link, but I’m glad i snagged it before it was gone. Click here to get it.

Twitter….. Who’s on it

I think that everyone has heard of Twitter at this point. Also they have heard of the great surge in of people using it in recent months. If you’re a normal person, after you sign up, you wonder what’s next. Well…. for the music lover I have complied a list of Soul music artists, on Twitter that will give you a jump start.
